Best reply wins

Build an automatic email responder that uses Mux Robots to understand a video and Resend to deliver the result. The most creative reply wins an all-expenses-paid trip to Resend Forward in San Francisco on Oct. 21, 2026.

How it works: Someone emails a video link to your Resend receiving address. Your code sends the video to Mux, runs one or more Mux Robots workflows, waits for the completion webhook, then turns the results into an automatic reply.

What the reply does is up to you. It could summarize the video, rate its content, pinpoint the most social-worthy moment — or do something else entirely.

We’ll send one of three mystery videos to your address to test what you built.

How to enter:
1. Set up a Resend receiving address
2. Build and deploy your automatic reply using mux and Resend Inbound
3. Submit your receiving address via this Google Form

We want to see how creative you can get. Feel free to throw practicality out the window.

Commit to the weird idea, make us chuckle, leave us more confused than before, or create something delightfully useful.

Note that we'll be using one of three random videos to test your creation.

Here's what's happening in that middle section:

  • Email goes out and Resend Inbound hands you the video URL.
  • Mux Robots processes the video and a webhook fires when it's done.
  • Your code automatically writes and sends the reply.
